This Indian Navy ASW frigate has the unfortunate honour of being the first warship lost in action to a torpedo since WW11.
The second was the Argentine Navies  "General Belgrano".
The "Khukri" was sunk during the "Indo - Pakistan war" of 1971 with the heaviest casualty list the Indian Navy has ever experienced. - 18 Officers and 176 men.
